Unlike Consistent Excellence Masteries, you only have to perform the Mastery once in order to accomplish a specific result.
An example would be starting a fire in your fireplace. Using a strategy you would use a certain type, size and amount of wood to start with. Then depending on your strategy you would add paper, lighter fluid, etc... And then with the strike of a match (or flick of a lighter) you would try to get the wood burning.
Once the fire is going, do you need to start the fire again on a scheduled basis to get it going? No, you just need to keep it going. It doesn't make sense to start the fire once it's already started.
If the fire dies out, then your need for an "On-Demand" strategy to start the fire would be required again.
This is the heart of Outstanding Achievement Masteries; we will explore some great Outstanding Achievement Masteries in future posts.
