Dr. DeMartini reviewed the steps, as shown in the movie, for manifesting your intentions in life: keeping a journal of the gratitude for all your experiences; writing down your intentions with precise detail; visualizing your intentions as if they are already in your experience; and feeling the daily affirmations you intend for yourself right now.
There were some unique ideas for following these processes, but the most important information I received from this meeting, was centered around your values and the values of others.
Let's start with your own values and your intentions for your life. First, do you know what you value most? And do you know in what order you prioritize your values? These are very important if you want to manifest your intentions, and manifest them without difficulty.
First, you should look at what you want for your life. What are the intentions you hold and desire? Write them down. Get specific. Try to define every detail with extreme accuracy.
Then think of your life, and the way you prioritize it. What is the number one area in your life for you? If you're having difficulty figuring it out, think about what you would not sacrifice anything else for. Keep thinking about if this great thing happened in my life would I make time for that or would I prioritize something else as more important.
For example: If you were given an opportunity to make 10x the amount of money you do now with a company you 100% believe in, and they treat their employees like gold, but you had to leave all of your family and friends (no one could go with you) as you moved half-way around the world for 5 years, would you do it?
This is an example of the way to find out if you value family or friends more than your career or money. Neither is right or wrong, they are simply what means most to YOU!
Our "values hierarchy" is unique to each one of us. Like a fingerprint, no two values hierarchies will be the same. And there will be someone who has the exact opposite values hierarchy that you do. Please remember, this is what makes us all unique individuals, with individual talents, gifts and goals. We should never judge someone based on their values, nor should we try to change them to our values - for what they value is the essence of who they are.
Now try to list in order, starting with #1 at the top and continuing down the page until you're satisfied, the values hierarchy you currently believe in.
Next, look at the intention(s) you wrote down at the beginning of this exercise and compare it to your values hierarchy. Is there a value on your list that could conflict with meeting your intention?
An example would be if you wanted to manifest $1,000,000 in savings for retirement, but having the best house on the block was higher on your values hierarchy than saving money, you will most likely not manifest this intention.
Your values must align with your intentions in order to manifest them into your reality.
