Are there other ideas that I can use like the "vision board"?

Sure there are lots of ideas. If you use the background of your computer (under a Windows operating system), you can create an active desktop and put the images, that you would place on your vision board, on your computer desktop.

You could also create a video of what you wish to manifest and then watch the video on a consistent basis.

Another idea would be to use a notebook or scrapbook to collect images, thoughts and ideas of what you want to manifest.

How can I control my environment and the people within it?

Through our thoughts we act and respond to the environment around us, and they in turn respond to our actions. Our perceptions of our environment is what in turn causes our reaction to what is going on around us. The film and the book both mention “inspired” action. What’s the difference between inspired action and motivated action?

Motivated action is usually done through a means of incentive. A means that is usually external. For example: you could positively motivate (or bribe) someone by telling them you’d give them $100 if they did your dirty dishes. That would probably be enough to motivate them. You may also be able to negatively motivate (or threaten) them by telling them that if they didn’t wash your dishes, you would punch them in the nose.

Inspired action is a bit different. It usually stimulates the mind, emotions and/or spirit within you to achieve something. It is purely internal. Being inspired by an idea, dream or goal is usually a perfect representation in your mind and you feel excited when you think about its accomplishment. This is what you are looking for when you are visualizing – you are living your inspired intention in your mind. Then through the excitement for your created reality, you will have an excited yearning to take action in order to make it so!

How can I create empowering actions?

You can create empowering actions by providing your subconscious mind with frequently repeated suggestions. These suggestions will eventually form new habits, thoughts and actions. By affirming to yourself on a consistent basis what you want to believe, you will re-program your subconscious actions and re-actions.

Is action really necessary?

Yes it is, either by someone or something. If everyone and everything stopped moving, and stayed perfectly still, while you visualized and intended to manifest your desire, it would never happen.

Why? Because the energy has stopped. In order to physically change something, a physical action needs to occur. “For every cause there is an effect”, understanding this, we realize that action must take place somewhere, either by you or someone else, for an effect to manifest from that action.
